ABOUT BEDFORDSHIRE HEALTH AND CARE ACADEMY
Bedfordshire Health and Care Academy has been created and facilitated by Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with support and insight from Health Education England and schools, colleges and sixth forms in the local area.
The Health and Care Academy provides students between the ages of 14 to 18 with a dynamic and flexible programme of learning, to champion the needs of each and every individual that demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
The academy platform consists of live and pre-recorded events, to deliver a diverse and action packed programme that is comprised of role-play, simulation, demonstrations, behind the scenes tours and so much more.
After being provided with the opportunity to see and experience our carefully constructed programme of learning, the pilot of the Health and Care Academy in 2020 saw over 600 students graduate and go on to pursue the next steps in their journey to become the future workforce of the NHS.
THE NEXT ACADEMY WILL BE GOING LIVE IN November 2023
The applications for the Academy is now closed. Please register your interest for 2023-2024.
