About Bedfordshire Health and Care Academy
The BLMK Health and Care Academy has been created and facilitated by Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with support and insight from schools, colleges and sixth forms in the local area.
The Health and Care Academy provides students aged 14 plus with a dynamic and flexible programme of learning, to champion the needs of each and every individual that demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
The academy platform consists of live and pre-recorded events, to deliver a diverse and action packed programme that is comprised of role-play, simulation, demonstrations, behind the scenes tours and so much more.
After being provided with the opportunity to see and experience our carefully constructed programme of learning, the Health and Care Academy has seen over a thousand students graduate and go on to pursue the next steps in their journey to become the future workforce within the health and social care sector.

The Academy's mission is to inform, support and inspire individuals by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to unlock their full potential.
The Academy's vision is to inspire the next generation of healthcare talent through a variety of routes and pathways, creating a future Health and Social Care workforce that is reflective of the community it serves.
