Pre-Professional Placements

As part of our commitment to developing the future health and care workforce, Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust proudly hosts Pre-Professional Placement students, who are currently studying Level 3 Health and Social Care. 

 

Much like T-Level students, these learners are able to provide hands-on care to patients under the guidance of our experienced teams. Each student completes a comprehensive Trust induction, designed with a creative and engaging approach to help them feel confident and prepared for their placement.

They also complete all mandatory training before starting on our wards and departments, ensuring safety and professionalism from day one. Throughout their time with us, students receive ongoing support and supervision—they are here to learn, and are never left unsupervised.

This placement experience gives students valuable insight into the realities of working in healthcare, helping them build essential skills and explore potential career paths within the NHS.
